Another Arrest Made in Kolthamajalu Rahman Murder Case
Mangalore: Authorities have apprehended another suspect in connection with the murder of Kolthamajalu Abdul Rahman and the related assault on Kalandar Shafi. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Bantwal Rural Police Station.
The accused, identified as Shahid alias Sahit, 24, a resident of Ammunje village, was taken into custody on Monday. This brings the total number of arrests in the case to eleven.
Shahid alias Sahit has been presented before the court and subsequently remanded to police custody to aid in the ongoing investigation.
Abdul Rahman was fatally attacked with weapons by his acquaintances on May 27th. Kalandar Shafi, who was accompanying Rahman, sustained serious injuries in the assault. The perpetrators fled the scene following the attack.
