Another arrested in SDPI leader Ashraf Kalayi murder case
Mangaluru: Another accused has been arrested in the Ashraf Kalayi murder case on June 25. Ashraf Kalayi was brutally murdered on June 21 by a group at Benjanapadav.
The arrested has been identified as Divyaraj Shetty.
In the Ashraf Kalayi murder case the police have already arrested 5 persons namely Pavan Kumar alias Punda (24) from Kumdelu Bantwal, Santhosh alias Santhu (23) from Kanemaru Thumbay, Shivaprasad alias Shivu (24) from Bantwal. Ranjith (28) from Kumdelu and Abhin Rai alias Abhi (23) from Thenkabellur. All the five accused were remanded to police custody for 5 days.
Divyaraj Shetty will be produced before the court requesting for police custody for further investigations.
