Arrogance of Congress Leaders led to BJP’s Victory in Bypolls – Janardhan Poojary
Mangaluru: “I had predicted that if the Congress leaders continue their arrogance, the BJP will come to power and my prediction has come true. I had already advised my party leaders not to be arrogant but they did not listen to me. I even begged with them but they did not understand. Today the Congress party is paying the price for their arrogance”, said senior Congress leader B Janardhan Poojary speaking to the media persons here on December 9.
Poojary was attending a programme to celebrate the birthday of AICC leader Sonia Gandhi at Prashanth Nivas, Jeppu on December 9.
When the mediapersons questioned Poojary on the victory of the BJP in the state by-elections Poojary said, “I had shed tears and advised all the party leaders not to be arrogant. But they just ignored my advice now they are paying the price. BJP has won 10 seats in the state by-elections and the Congress has lost very badly. The Congress leaders should strengthen the party by taking the people into confidence. If the leaders will continue to be arrogant the Congress party will be totally wiped out, ” said Poojary.
