Ashem Zalem Kashem Screened to Houseful Audience in Kuwait
Kuwait: Wow, what a scintillating movie that was thoroughly enjoyed by large audience a long-awaited movie “Ashem Zalem Kashem” (Incha Aanda Yencha) a dual language movie Konkani & Tulu by none other than the well known personality Maxim Pereira who is a Versatile a multi-talented musician, Singer and composer of the coastal region of Mangalore. Generally, when you go to see a movie, you want the people around you to have a great time and enjoy the movie… silently. But a part of going to the movie is the communal experience, and under the right circumstances, that group environment can really heighten your enjoyment watching a comedy where the whole audience is cracking up is really fun. Likewise, seeing Ashem Zalem Kashem the die-hard fans cheering for triumphant moments.
Fr Noel D Almeida, Fr Franco Pereira, Fr Blany Pinto & Fr Roswin Pires were also present during the screening of the Movie.
The huge publicity of the movie was justified witnessed by houseful audience for both the shows 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm that was screened at the American International School Maidan Hawally on Sunday 25th February 2018 Kuwait. After seeing the movie both Konkani and Tulu speaking audience who thoroughly enjoyed, gave their mixed reaction. Many commented saying it was a nice movie for a change to enjoy all things well balanced. There was Romance, comedy, Family drama, Action & Tragedy. Lastly, the movie should have been a little longer than expected.
The greatest praise this film has garnered has been for its catchy musical numbers, lyrics and sound which will no doubt find their ways to many a musical fans and the main attraction was the star of the Movie Roopesh Shetty who was flown from Mangalore for screening the movie and his presence added more glamour when he came on the stage to the cheer of the crowd.
After a brief introduction by our very own popular multilingual Talented compere Jaison Lasrado from Kuwait, the programme started with the National Anthem of Kuwait and India. The screening was inaugurated by lighting the Lamp in a Traditional way by the Director of the movie Maxim Pereira Angelore, Fr Noel D’Almeida, Main sponsor Elias & Trecy Sanctis, co-producer Joe & Pricilla Pereira and lead actor Roopesh Shetty. To commemorate a souvenir was released by Elias & Trecy Sanctis to mark the event. Fr Noel D’Almeida wished Maxim, & Roopesh Shetty a grand success of their cast and its production Journey.
Before screening the Movie co-producer Joe Pereira rendered a word of Thanks, Gratitude and Appreciation to all the AZK committee members, the Media Daijiworld, Mangalorean.com, and the lovely Audience who came in large number to support the cause. The Director, producer, Main Actor, and Main sponsor of the event were felicitated with Mementoes.
To conclude the climax of the movie Ashem Zalem Kashem. It’s the union of two families focusing on the life of Amit, whose life at a tender age met with tragedy and got separated from the family.
