Bike Rider obstructs Police on Duty, Case Booked

Udupi: The Udupi Traffic Police booked a case against a person for obstructing the police on duty near PPC, Udupi.

According to the Press Note issued by SP Nisha James, on Thursday evening the Udupi Traffic PSI Narayan Ganiga along with his team Rajeev and Siddanna were checking the vehicles. At that time, Bike rider Mohammed Haris who was riding the bike without a helmet was stopped by the Traffic Police. The Bike rider used foul language against the police and stopped them from doing their duty. When two other police, Sukumar Shetty and Mallesh who were in Mafthi rushed to the spot to assist PSI Naryana Ganiga. The Bike rider Mohammed used foul language also against them.

As per the complaint by PSI Narayan Ganiga the Udupi Traffic Police registered a case against Mohammed Haris. An investigation is on in this regard.
