Blizzard Announces Overwatch 2

It’s finally confirmed! Blizzard and game director Jeff Kaplan said that Overwatch 2 is coming, but it’s still early in the development and they are not yet sure when it will be released. Jeff said “I don’t know. I have no idea. Like just let us make it great, and that’s what we care about more than anything. Unfortunately, we don’t have a date in mind”

One thing that’s worth mentioning is that the Overwatch League team Vancouver Titans tweeted that 2020 was the year Overwatch 2 would be released, but it was quickly removed.

Vancouver Titans is one of the top tier teams in Overwatch League, the only high paid tournament in Overwatch. They are one of the favourites at BettingPoint.in to win OWL 2020. So, they are considered as a trusted source, but for now, no release date has been confirmed.

Competitive Play in Overwatch

Competitive play in Overwatch is a bit different from other eSports, meaning you don’t have many different tournaments to play over the course of a year. Competitive play in Overwatch is a League that last for a season, and have playoff and finals just like in most sports. Making it very cool for the fans to watch the games throughout the season.

Many sites offers esports betting during an Overwatch League (OWL) season. San Francisco Shock destroyed Vancouver Titans in 2019 and took home the 2019 OWL trophy.

Owl 2020 will start on 08 February 2020.

How to get started playing Overwatch

To get started playing this amazing game from Blizzard you must first visit Blizzard’s homepage and download their Battle.net application. Blizzard has their own game launcher for Blizzard & Activision games only. Here you find games like Overwatch, World of Warcraft, StarCraft, Hearthstone, and Warcraft.

When you have downloaded and installed the Battle.net launcher you must make yourself an account so you can login to Battle.net. When all this is done, you can login to your new game launcher and download the games you want.

As you might expect, a big game such as Overwatch is not free to play and costs $19.99 to buy the full game.
