Boloor Area Sealed Down after COVID-19 Positive Case reported

Mangaluru: Deputy Commissioner Sindhu Roopesh using her power as delegated chairperson of the District Disaster Management Authority under National Disaster Management Act (NDMA) 2005 by G.O. No. RD 157 TNR 2020 and in the exercise of the powers conferred under section 26, 30 and 34 of N DMA 2005, issued under epidemic disease act 1987 by the state government has declared the (Specific area of Boloor Village, Mangaluru Taluk as shown in the sketch) as an Active Containment /one for patient no. P-536, who is a COVID – I9 positive patient.

The Containment area is bound by the Following Boundaries:

No. of residential houses = 135 (One [fund red and Tidily File)
No. of Shops / Offices     = 12 (Twelve) Shops
Total Population              = 640 (Six Hundred and Forty)

Further, the buffer zone is the area 5 km around the containment zone bound by :

No. of residential houses = 16,350 (Sixteen Thousand Three !kindred and Fifty)
No. of Shops / Offices     = 1,275 (One Thousand Two Hundred and Seventy-Five) Shops
Total Population              = 79,800 (Seventy-Nine Thousand and Eight Hundred)

The rough sketch of both the Containment and Buffer zone is attached with this notification. For effective implementation of COVID – 19 virus control measures. Executive Engineer – 3, Smart City Ltd., Mangaluru is appointed as the Incident Commander who will be the overall in-charge of the Containment Zone. The Incident Commander will take the necessary action as specified in the containment zone notification referred above.
