Chain snatched from woman in Kota
Kundapur: Two unknown persons, riding a motorcycle, snatched a gold chain weighing about 48 gm from a woman who was out walking near her residence at Kota on Friday, October 21 night.
According to the police Manasa Mayya (56) wife of Vasudeva Mayya resident of Giliyaru Kota was on her way to her house after finishing a Bhajana programme.
When she reached near Giliyaru two men who came on a motorbike, snatched the gold chain she was wearing. As she screamed for help, the chain snatchers escaped on the bike. The gold chain weighed 48 grams.
The Kota Police have registered a case.
