Bengaluru: Chaos Faktory organized Parkour and Freerunning Jam 3.0 at their indoor academy which is also one of the first full fledged Parkour-Freerunning academies in India, situated at the FITT Club, Vijayanagar, Bangalore. This was the third of its kind in Karnataka and the first indoor jam. Nearly 35 Parkour Freerunning enthusiasts participated in the event.

Parkour (PK) also called as the art of displacement is a training discipline that was developed out of military obstacles course training. The practitioners aim to move from one place to another, negotiating the obstacles in between. The discipline uses no equipment and is non-competitive. Freerunning(FR) evolved from Parkour and includes combinations of Martial Arts, Gymnastics or acrobatics moves. It is the freedom of movement and action. Parkour-Freerunning is relatively new concept in India and has been gaining attention in the recent past.

This was the right opportunity for people who get inspired by seeing the high voltage Hollywood chase and other similar videos to experience Parkour moves.  Nearly 35 Parkour enthusiasts made use of this opportunity and gained exposure to Parkour and Freerunning.

Event involved training on the fundamentals of Parkour, Freerunning and Martail Arts with fun games in controlled environment under lot of safety. Team Chaos Faktory received overwhelming response from the participants and looks forward to organizing more such jams.
