Puttur: Non-vegetarians can walk into any of the bar-attached restaurants around to relish the choicest chicken delicacies. What if the case is the other way around?
On receipt of a tip-off, probationary IPS officer in charge of Uppinangady police station Laxman Nimbargi and his team, raided a chicken stall in Nerolpalke in Padmunja village and found liquor in 25 bottles of 180 ml and a bottle of 375 ml stocked there for the purpose of retailing.
Vasant and Udaya Nayak who operated the stall were arrested and a bike belonging to them was seized.
