CID Team begins Probe into Cattle Trader Husainabba’s Death Case
Udupi: The Crime Investigation Department (CID) team began its probe into the suspected death of Cattle trader Husainabba.
The CID team is led by DySP Chandra Shekhar who arrived to Udupi and received the files related to the case from the Udupi district Police.
The team visited Hiriyadka Police station and collected all the information of the incident. The SP of the CID and senior officials are expected to come to Udupi.
Husainabba, 62, a cattle trader, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Shenarbettu, near Perdoor, under the Hiriyadka police station limits in Udupi district on May 30.
Husainabba had died while he was in the custody of the police and department has considered it as custodial death. The Home department has transferred the case to the CID for investigations.
