CM Kumaraswamy visits Sri Krishna Math, meets Pejawar and Palimar Swamiji’s
Udupi: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy visited Sri Krishna Math Udupi and had a darshan of the deity Lord Krishna on Sunday, April 7.
Chief minister Kumaraswamy was accompanied by Congress JDS collation candidate Pramod Madhwaraj, Udupi District minister in-charge Dr Jayamala, MLC Bhojegowda and other leaders.
After the darshan, the CM met Sri Vidyadeesha Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Palimar Math. During the meeting, Palimar Swamiji explained the Suvarna Gopura project to the Chief Minister. The CM was also felicitated by the Palimar Swamiji on the occasion.
Later Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy met Sri Vishwesha Thirtha Swamiji of Pejawar Math and sought his blessing for the Lok Sabha Elections.
During the meeting, Pejawar Swamiji urged the chief minister to start Goshalas in 3 places in the district.
Replying to the Swamiji’s request, the CM said, “Presently due to the code of coduct I can’t assure you of any project. Once the election is over we will look into the matter”.
