‘Did You Notice-BJP Members Left Vidhana Soudha when National Anthem was played’-Rahul Gandhi

Tit-for-tat! Rahul Gandhi slammed at BJP members for walking out while the National anthem was played today in the Vidhana Soudha during the floor test. Addressing the media in New Delhi after BS Yeddyurappa resigned as Karnataka chief minister of Karnataka, Congress Party President Rahul Gandhi said, “Did you notice after the entire exercise in the Vidhana Soudha in Karnataka that the BJP leader and speaker chose to leave the house before the national anthem was played? This is what we fighting for today. You can rubbish any institution; you can disrespect anybody just because you are in power. This is what BJP and RSS do again and again… The idea that the PM says he is fighting corruption is a blatant lie. He is doing everything to subvert the nation,”.

“BJP and RSS believe every institution can be trampled upon. They disrespect the mandate of the people one after the other. I am proud we have shown money and power are not everything, but the will of the people is everything. I congratulate the opposition parties for standing united and protecting the Constitution. PM Modi and Amit Shah tried to openly buy our MLAs. The PM talks about corruption, but he not only supports it, he himself is corrupt. The Prime Minister needs to understand he is not bigger than the Constitution, not bigger than the institutions of this country. But he will not understand this as he is trained by the RSS. Congress will protect the people. Wherever BJP tries to subvert the Constitution, Congress will step in and protect the people.” added Rahul

Recalling the incident that took place on 27 April 2018, The Bharatiya Janata Party has accused Rahul Gandhi of disrespecting the national song- Vande Mataram. Sources revealed that Rahul Gandhi was seen walking out of an event when the national song Vande Mataram- was being sung. But Brijesh Kalappa, Congress spokesperson denied the charges and said that such an event never happened. “Does Rahul Gandhi not have time for the national song?” Malviya of BJP questioned. Taking to Twitter, Malviya said, “Well done Rahul Gandhi” as he tweeted the video. The video shows Gandhi sitting on the dais with Congress functionaries. Gandhi makes gestures, asking the organizers, to wrap up quickly. The video then shows the functionaries to just sing one line of the song to ensure the Congress party President can rush.

Meanwhile, the Congress party hit back at the BJP saying- the “video circulated by BJP is fake”. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said that the video has been aired by a television channel and that the BJP has nothing to do with creating or doctoring the video. Speaking to Times Now, he said that the Congress has been blaming BJP for “everything”. “Rahul Gandhi directs to cut Vande Mataram to a single line during a public rally in Karnataka ..now this is why we call Him “Sahzada” ..His sense of entitlement is appalling..thinks this country is family property..can at his wish amend the National Song?” Sambit Patra tweeted. And now, today it was the turn of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to hit back at the BJP legislators.

  1. It’s the minority ‘vote banks’ of Congress who have problem with national anthem, vande mataram or yoga. Pince Raul is not fooling anyone. Just a week ago, people taught these communal Congress party a good lesson. What happened in coastal districts was nothing but a ‘kapaala moksha’. Even after losing power, Congress is trying backdoor entry with the help of ‘Appa-Maga’ team. Just watch out and see how quickly the alliance will collapse because both are fighting for the same Old Mysore area in 2019 elections!! LOL
