Dr. Sushanth Rai Bellippadi Appointed to KVAFSU Governing Council
Bengaluru: The Government of Karnataka has nominated Dr. Sushanth Rai Bellippadi, Director of Raison’s Nutrition, Mangaluru, to the Board of Management of the Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (KVAFSU), Bidar. The appointment is effective immediately and will extend for a term of three years.
Dr. Rai is a prominent figure in the veterinary and poultry sectors, having previously served as President of the Karnataka Poultry Farmers & Breeders Association (KPFBA) for two consecutive terms from 2019 to 2024. He has also been a member of the Research Advisory Committee of both ICAR-NIANP (National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology) and ICAR-DPR (Directorate of Poultry Research), Hyderabad. Furthermore, in 2024, Dr. Rai was elected to the Board of the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) from Karnataka.
Recognized for his leadership and collaborative strategies, Dr. Rai is known for guiding organizations toward substantial growth. His nomination to the KVAFSU Board is anticipated to contribute significantly to the advancement of the veterinary and animal sciences landscape within the state
