Educated People of Udupi will Never Vote for JD(S) – Kota Srinivas Poojary
Udupi: The Opposition leader of the Legislative Council Kota Srinivas Poojary on Tuesday, March 19 said that people of the coastal district never care for family politics. The educated people of Udupi district will never vote for the JD(S).
He was replying to the remarks made by chief minister Kumaraswamy saying that the coastal people have less knowledge and they always vote for BJP. Such insulting remarks against the people of the coastal district should not be tolerated. The people of Udupi district will teach him a lesson in the Lok Sabha elections and the BJP will win with a huge margin.
Kumaraswamy has done injustice to the coastal districts in the last budget. He should first clarify his contribution to our undivided Udupi and DK districts. People of Udupi district have not voted for the JD(S) for many years, now Kumaraswamy is trying to take revenge, he said.
Kota Srinivas Poojary demanded chief minister Kumaraswamy to immediately apologise for his remarks. Kumaraswamy is the only chief minister who has insulted the people of Udupi district. Our district was developed by other CM’s who served the state and not by Devegowda family, he said.
