Election Commission Orders Removal of BJP Flags ahead of Modi Visit

Udupi: The election commission on Monday, April 30 ordered to remove the BJP flags which were put outside the MGM grounds as it was a violation of the election code of conduct.

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending the election campaign rally on Tuesday, May 1.

The election commission has given permission to put the flags 2 hours prior to the programme. But the BJP put the flags across the ground on Monday. The flying squad team noticed the flags and instructed to remove them.

After the order by the election commission, the BJP workers removed the all flags from the venue.
