Los Angeles, May 9 (IANS) “Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke says she was “so excited” to see that popular character Jon Snow, played by actor Kit Harington, was resurrected on the HBO fantasy series.

In an interview to Daily Star Sunday, the actress, who plays Daenerys Targaryen in the hit drama, shared that some of her macho rugby player friends were left in tears when the beloved character was brought back to life, reports mirror.co.uk.

The 29-year-old said: “It’s silly but I was so excited. I have rugby player friend that have been reduced to tears. It’s sad, but it’s beautiful and it was a special thing.”

She continued: “The response from the viewers has been really overwhelming.”

Snow was resurrected by Melisandre on the second episode of season six of “Game of Thrones”, a revelation that caps 10 months of worldwide speculation following Snow’s death at the hands of his Night’s Watch brothers in last year’s finale.

Clarke also admitted that she is finding the suspense of the new series intense.

“I had to keep putting the script down and picking it back up because it was too much,” she said.

No more x-rated scenes for Megan Fox?

Los Angeles, May 9 (IANS) Actress Megan Fox believes that there are just “certain things boys should never see their mothers do”.

“There are just certain things boys should never see their mothers do. There are some good projects I’ve read that are with talented people, talented directors, but the things the women are required to do in the movie are things I can’t have my sons ever know or see,” The Sun on Sunday newspaper quoted Fox as saying, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“I was offered a project that’s coming out on HBO that centres around the life of a prostitute and it has very graphic sex scenes — things you would see in a pornographic film and those are things that are degrading to the woman who’s playing the character,” the mother of two added.

The “Transformers” actress has sons Noah, 3, and Bodhi, 2, and is currently expecting her third child.

The 29-year-old also shared that “It’s up to the mother to determine what she thinks her children can handle seeing or not”.

“I don’t think my children should ever see me doing some of that stuff. I don’t think my boys could handle that. They can’t separate the experience of the reality from the art. It gets very confusing when it’s your own mother,” Fox added.

Asked if she gives Caitlyn advice, Kylie shared: “Not on what she should do, but on her style and make-up, yes. She loves the lip kits and gives them to all her make-up artists and friends. And she’s really proud of me because she knows how hard I work,” Glamour magazine quoted her as saying.

Tom Hanks had trouble coping with parents’ divorce

Los Angeles, May 9 (IANS) Actor Tom Hanks says he was devastated by his parents’ divorce when he was just five.

In an interview on BBC Radio 4’s show “Desert Island Discs”, the “Forrest Gump” star described how lonely he was as a child, reports dailymail.co.uk.

Hanks fell silent after presenter Kirsty Young asked him about parent’s divorce, he regained his composure, and said to her: “What have you done to me?”

During the interview, the 59-year-old double-Oscar winner tells how he and his two siblings were brought up by their father Amos, who went on to marry again twice. By the age of 10, Hanks had lived in 10 homes in five different cities.

He said: “(The divorce) was more about complexity than crossfire. I never came across anybody that was abusive or angry to the point that they took it out on us. We were confused because no one explained anything to us.

“No one said, ‘Hey listen, you guys are great. You haven’t done anything wrong – give us a couple of moments and we will figure out what we are going to do’. Nobody ever said that to us.”
