ENC Police Arrest Two Persons For Peddling Drugs
Mangaluru: The Economic and Narcotic Crime Police arrested two persons in connection with peddling drugs at Thokkottu here on November 6.
The arrested have been identified as Kiran (24) and Nitin Kumar alias Uday Kumar Rao (43) natives of Kasargod.
According to the police, On November 6, on getting information of two persons selling Ganja on a motorbike near Koragajja Katte at Thokkottu. The police got into action and arrested both Kiran and Nitin and seized 2.2 kgs of Ganja worth Rs 37,700, 2 motorbikes, mobile phone and cash Rs 3500 all worth Rs 1.1 lakh from their possession.
Under the able guidance of Police commissioner T R Suresh, DCP Law and order Hanumantharaya and DCP crime and traffic Uma Prashanth the operation was carried out by Police Inspector Mohammed Sherif and team.
