Father Muller Nursing College Thumbay Announces Inauguration of ‘Crafting Clinical Realism’ National Workshop on Low-Cost Moulage Preparation

Mangaluru: Father Muller Nursing College Thumbay, in collaboration with Father Muller Simulation and Skill Centre (Units of Father Muller Charitable Institutions), will inaugurate a national workshop titled “Crafting Clinical Realism” focusing on Low-Cost Moulage Preparation on April 10th, 2026, at 9:00 am. The event will be held at the Muller Mini Hall, Father Muller Convention Centre, Kankanady.

The workshop commemorates the 10th anniversary of the Simulation Lab and aims to enhance clinical simulation skills through innovative, affordable moulage techniques, enabling healthcare professionals to create realistic training scenarios with limited resources. It will feature hands-on sessions, expert lectures, and interactive demonstrations on designing and applying low-cost moulages for various medical simulations, thereby improving clinical education and patient safety.

Dr. Dinkar Pai (MS, FRCS, CHSE, FSSH), Director, Medical Simulation Centre, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Puducherry, India, will be the chief guest, delivering the inaugural address and sharing insights on advanced simulation practices. Hemanth (BSc, MBA Healthcare, PG Diploma in Critical Care), Simulation Enthusiast & In charge, Advanced Center for Medical Simulation & Skills, AIIMS, Rishikesh, will present a special session on simulation innovation.

The ceremony will be presided over by Rev. Fr. Faustine Lucas Lobo, Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions.
