Fire Erupts in Locked House at Light House Hill Road
Mangaluru: A fire erupted at an old locked house late at night at the Lighthouse Road here on March 30.
According to sources, on March 30 at around 11:00 pm, a passersby saw the house on fire. The fire service was called and they began dousing the fire.
Speaking to mangalorean.com, one of the fire tenders said, “The tiled house is more than 80 years old and it is more than 3000 sq ft. The house was locked with no one living in it. The fire broke out from inside the house and it has been damaged by the fire.”
Four fire brigades rushed to the spot and are trying to douse the fire. The reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained.
