Mangaluru: The School vehicle association is planning for a protest on July 11. In this connection, a meeting was held by the DCP Crime and Traffic Lakshmi Ganesh and ACP Traffic Manjunath with the leaders of the School Vehicle Association on July 10.

As per the law, the school vehicles cannot carry excess children in their vehicles. The High court of Karnataka has given specific direction to book cases against vehicles carrying students beyond its capacity.

The DCP brought the above points to the notice of the association members and urged them to follow the law and direction of the High Court.
