Gang Assaults Bus Driver and Conducter with lethal weapons in Agumbe
Shivamogga: A gang of Drunken men attacked the Driver and conductor of a bus with lethal weapons in Thirthalli area on Tuesday July 2.
According to sources the driver and conductor of the private bus plying between Shivamogga and Mangaluru alleged that on Tuesday, July 2 while the bus was on its way to Shivamogga they were attacked by a gang of drunken men with leathel weapons because the bus driver did not allow their car to overtake it near Parkala.
The occupants of the car chased and waylaid the bus near Agumbe and assaulted the driver and conductor with lethal weapons. They also forcibly took away Rs 20,000 cash from them.
A case has been registered in the Malur Police Station in Shivamogga district.
