GST is Gabbar Singh Tax and Demonetization Loss to Treasury – Dhananjay

Mangaluru: Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Dakshina Kannada was a huge success. Rahul’s visit had attracted large number of youth who voluntarily participated in the Janaashirvad yatra. He has a very good culture and has advised us during his visit to DK to contest the election by winning the hearts of the people. The opposition will defame you, they use foul language but give them love and win the elections, had said Rahul. Rahul has a good culture and he has the capacity to become the prime minister of this country”, said the District President of Publicity Committee Dhananjay Addangaya in a press meet held at Hotel Ocean Pearl here on March 26.

Addressing the mediapersons Dhananjay said, “Rahul has described the note ban as a loss to the treasury and Gabbar Singh Tax (GST) which was very badly conceptualized and implemented in the country. By the note ban, the Modi government put the common man in trouble and has been a loss for the treasury. The Modi government expected a large sum of scrapped currency notes to come back to the bank but a lot of demonetized currency had not come back. GST is nothing but a burden to the citizens. India’s GST is the highest in the world. In Singapore, there is only one GST of 7%. In India, we have various type of GST’s that has put the people in great difficulty.”

Dhananjay further said, “If we see the unemployment rate in our country, 60% of our engineers and 90% of the MBA graduates are unemployed. In Bengaluru, an auto driver earns more than the engineers and MBA graduates”.

Senior Congress leader Ibrahim Kodijal, convener of Social Media Nithyanand Shetty, Ummer Farooq, Neeraj Chandrapal, Arif Bava and Nazir Bajal were also present.
