Home Minister Rajnath Singh arrives in Udupi, visits Sri Krishna Temple
Udupi: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday arrived in the city for a days visit to campaign for the BJP candidates contesting the Assembly elections.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh arrived at Adi-Udupi helipad after completing the election campaign at Beltangady. Udupi district BJP president Mattar Rathnakar Hegde and other BJP leaders welcomed Singh. Later he took part in the intellectuals meet at Manipal.
Thereafter Rajnath Singh visited the Sri Krishna Math and made a darshan of Lord Sri Krishna and also met Sri Vidyadeesha Theertha Swamiji of Palimar Math. The Swamiji honoured Singh during the visit. After the temple visit singh returned to New Delhi through Mangalore International Airport.
