IFF Karnataka Chapter Holds ‘Sneha Koota -2016’

Riyadh: “Muslims and backward class people should come together to protect our democracy” said Abdul Majeed Vitla, IFF Jeddah District Committee member during ‘SnehaKoota 2016”.

India Fraternity Forum Riyadh Karnataka Chapter a non-profit voluntary organization of Indians held a family get together under the banner of “SnehaKoota 2016” recently at Al-Rushd Resort here in Riyadh.

The event began with the recitation of verses from the Quran by Hafiz Adil Hussain followed by the welcome address by Ismail Inoli General Secretary of IFF Riyadh Karnataka Chapter.

IFF Riyadh President Abdul Rauf presided over the programme, in his presidential speech he explained various welfare works done by IFF throughout Saudi Arabia also emphasized the need to carry out such work by the organization.

Dr Kaiser Parvez, General Physician National Tuberculosis Program Head MOH Riyadh Inaugurated the programme by given health tips and speaking on the prevention of Zika Virus which has caused concern in the kingdom.

Guest Sayed Mozam Ali, Chief Patron of Golden Telangana Welfare Association Riyadh appreciated IFF’s social work and called on to work together for the Muslim community. IFF Central Region president Ilyas Tiroor and ISF Riyadh Karnataka wise president Mustaq Kasim were on dais. Event coordinator Mohammed Haneef delivered the vote of thanks. Shareef Kabaka and Naveed Kundapur compered the programme.

Thousands of Indian Expatriates witnessed the events. The programme included a social awareness Beary stage play “Nangalo Jamath” conducted by IFF Karnataka brothers.

Various sports and games for children, women and youth like Quiz, Tug of War, Race, Volleyball etc. were held. Prizes were distributed to the winners.

In volleyball Puttur Riders were the winners and Bhankal runners, in the tug of war ISF Riyadh were the winners and Puttur Riders bagged second place. Young businessman Usman Kunjatoor and Siddik Madikeri presented the trophy’s to the winners.

  1. Message from A.M.Vitla was what we are facing back home lack of unity etc. Overall programs went through finest of its kind.
