Instead of Criticising me Kota Srinivas should have Questioned BSY for Seat Politics – Khader
Mangaluru: “Why did Kota Srinivas Poojary not question B S Yeddyurappa for commenting on winning 22 seats in the Lok Sabha polls. Why is Kota Srinivas criticising me? If he had the courage, he should have questioned B S Yeddyurappa for linking the air strikes to the Lok Sabha polls”, said the District Minister In-charge U T Khader in a press meet held at the Circuit House here on March 6.
Responding to the journalists U T Khader said, “I have great respect for Kota Srinivas Poojary. But he does not know what to speak. He is very much aware that B S Yeddyurappa had linked the air strikes to the Lok Sabha polls and was counting the number of winning seats in the forthcoming elections. Instead of questioning him, Kota Srinivas is criticizing me! Any political party should not take advantage of the airstrikes and the sacrifice by the soldiers.”
U T Khader further said, “I don’t blame anyone but when Kota Srinivas Poojary shows so much concern for our soldiers why did he fail in his duty to question Yeddyurappa for playing politics with the lives of the soldiers? In Dakshina Kannada, everyone comes to know if 1 load of sand is being transported, then how did the intelligence fail when 350 kgs of RDX was transported in Pulwama? Is it not the failure of the intelligence?” Questioned Khader.
U T Khader also questioned the BJP on forming the government in Jammu and Kashmir with the Peoples Democratic Party if they were really concerned about the country. The PDP was founded and is headed by Mufti Mohammed Sayeed. When the question of our soldiers and the borders arise, we should all be united forgetting party differences. In the Mumbai blast the Maharastra CM was made to step down by the Congress but the BJP has not taken any action against B S Yeddyurappa for linking the airstrikes with the Lok Sabha Polls. It is now the turn of the BJP to show their patriotism”.
