ISF Holds Public Programme ‘Rebuild Babri, Regain India’ in Riyadh
Saudi Arabia: With Slogan “Rebuild Babri, Regain India” Indian Social Forum, Riyadh Karnataka State Committee organized a public programme at the Paragon Restaurant Hall in Riyadh.
Speaking after inaugurating the programme India Fraternity Forum Saudi Arabia Zonal President Basheer Ingapuzha described the demolition of the Babri mosque as a constitutional destruction and that Indian Muslims should have faith in the Constitution and wait until the Supreme Court’s verdict.
Mohammed Naveed, State Committee member Indian Social Forum Riyadh Karnataka Spoke on the occasion, he said fascist forces through the polarization of religion had created a new political history and developed a unique political attitude in the minds of the majority and have acquired the political leadership of the country today.
He Urged people of all community and secular forces to set aside their political difference come forward and unite to preserve the values of the constitution and to rebuild the Babri Masjid, and also Punish the culprits based on the recommendation of the Liberhan Commission.
Speaking on the occasion, Fazalur Rahman Kohlar, vice-president of the Dakshina Karnataka Muslim Okkoota said that the Indian Muslim community should work together to make the community stronger both educationally and politically.
Haris Mangalore presided over the programme and spoke on the occasion. He reminded the promise made by the government in 1992 of rebuilding the Babri Masjid and explained how the government failed to keep its promise and used the Minorities as their vote bank, he also explained how the people in power are deliberately attempting a systematic strategy to dilute the judicial system through false documents.
President of Malnad Gulf Association Mrs. Junaid Ismail Moodigere, Indian Social Forum Riyadh Karnataka state committee president Sabith Hasan were also present on this occasion.
Mohammad Sharif Kabaka welcomed the gathering, Abdul Hak Bangalore delivered the vote of thanks, Rahman Tumbe compered the programme.
