St Peter’s Church Pethri set for Golden Jubilee Celebrations on December 10
Udupi: The St Peter’s Church Pethri is all set to celebrate its Golden Jubilee in a grand manner on Monday, December 10.
According to Fr Joseph Machado parish priest of the church, the celebrations will be held on Monday. Rev Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese, will offer the Jubilee mass at 10:00 am. A Felicitation programme presided over by Bishop Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo will follow at the church premises after the holy mass.
Msgr Baptist Menezes, Vicar General of Udupi Diocese, Fr Lawrence C D’Souza, Dean, Kallianpur Deanery, Raghupathi Bhat, MLA Udupi Constituency, Pramod Madhwaraj Ex Minister, Sudhakar Shetty Perdoor ZP member, Gopi K Naik TP member Cherkadi, Harish Shetty President Cherkadi Grama Panchayat, Fr Joseph Dolphy Pais Provincial Superior of Capuchin Province, Sr Dr Matilda Monteiro Provincial Superior Sisters of Charity, Vincent D’Álmedia Vice president, Prema D’Almeida Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council, Edward Larsen D’Souza Co-ordinator of 18 commissions pastoral council will be present on the occasion.
