J. Nagendra Kumar Re-elected President of Jappinamogaru Ganeshotsava Committee

Mangaluru: J. Nagendra Kumar, former corporator, has been re-elected as the president of the Jappinamogaru Public Sri Ganeshotsava Committee for its 18th annual Ganeshotsava celebrations, marking the beginning of preparations for the forthcoming festivities.

The committee announced a comprehensive organisational structure, entrusting key responsibilities to several experienced public representatives and community members. J. Anil Shetty has been appointed Honorary President, while T. Praveen Chandra Alva, corporator, and Uday Kottari Bajal will serve as working presidents.

Subhash V. Adappa has been named Chief Secretary. Balakrishna Shetty Beedimane and Srimathi Kavitha Gangadhar have been appointed secretaries, and Shailesh Bhandari Tadagol will serve as Chief Treasurer.

A large panel of vice-presidents has also been constituted to support the committee’s activities. Among those appointed are J. Surendra, former corporator; Nagaraj B.V. Kuttadka; Jayanth D. Gatti, retired Income Tax Officer; Srinivas K. Akkuru; Sunil Poojary; Tandolige Anil Kottari; Ashok Rao K.S.; R.T.C.; J. Shekhar Sunil; Kambettu; Pushparaj Shetty Kambettu; Shivaraj B. Angadimaru; Sri Krishna Shetty; Ashok Kotyan Kambettu; Sri Ganesh Acharya; Umesh Shetty Kambettu; and several women members, including Srimathi Kavitha Krishna Shetty, Srimathi Amita Sitaram, Srimathi Vijaya Ujrodi, Srimathi Shanti Shetty, Srimathi Sumathi Chandrashekhar, Srimathi Sulochana Melant, Srimathi Pushpavathi and Srimathi Yashwanthi Ravindra.

Devaraj Jappu (Tigers Camp), Santosh Kumar Tandolige and Srimathi Sheetal Tandolige have been appointed joint secretaries. Chandrashekhar Kille Paduhitlu and Kumari Deepika Keshav Angadimaru will serve as joint treasurers.

To ensure smooth coordination of the celebrations, the committee has also named coordinators for various sub-committees. The list includes J. Pranesh Rao Tandolige, Sitaram KMC, Harish Shetty Tadagolya, Herbert D’Souza Kadekar, Chandrahass Kulal Kambettu, N. Suresh Shetty Tadagolya, Amarnath Bhandari Tadagolya, Keerthan Kumar Tandolige, Shivanand Rao Bejithulu, Ganesh Poojary Jalligudde, Yogesh Rai Brahmarabettu, Sudesh Sunil and Tandolige.

In all, 148 members, including honorary advisers, women secretaries and coordinators of various sub-committees, have been appointed to the committee, reflecting an inclusive organisational framework for the annual event.
