New York, March 6 (IANS) Singer and fashion designer Jessica Simpson was forced to rush re-style a series of looks from her new collection after she lost a trunk-load in transit the day before she shot the campaign.

“My mom and I worked together on the styling for this shoot, and as luck would have it, a trunk from our showrooms in New York was lost in transit the day before the shoot!” Simpson told people.com.

“We had to rework a few of the looks last minute and we really love how the styling turned out. It was a blessing in disguise,” she added.

But one piece she wasn’t planning to part ways was her navajo woven platform, featuring pretty floral detailing on the sides, as she wore them home after shooting the campaign.

“The navajo woven platform was immediately one of my favourite styles from the new collection. I even wore them home from the shoot because I didn’t want to take them off,” she said.

The 35-year-old is hopeful some of the items from her Jessica Simpson Collection can be passed on to her daughter Maxwell, three, whom she has with her husband Eric Johnson, when she’s a little bit older.

“The Jessica Simpson Collection is timeless, just like the shell pink long fringe vest. It is a special piece I can hand down to my daughter one day,” she said.
