Karkala: A youth was thrashed by locals for allegedly misbehaving with a girl at a photo studio at Hosmar, here on Monday, August 3.
The accused is identified as Satish (19), a resident of Hosmar.
The accused had gone to a photo studio to click his picture and used it as an excuse to misbehave with the girl staff. He tried to misbehave with the girl in the studio and when she cried for help, the locals gathered and thrashed him. The locals then informed the Karkala Town Police.
Satish is said to be severely injured and has been admitted to the Government Hospital, Karkala.
A case has been registered in the Karkala Town Police Station and investigation is on.
