Karkala: A motorcyclist was killed on the spot when his bike collided with an Maruti Omni on the Belman – Karkala state Highway near Nitte here on January 28.
The deceased has been identified as Moon Rajput (23) hailing from Panjab. He was doing his final year BE in Nitte Engineering college Karkala.
According to the police sources Rajput was on his way to college, a Maruti Omni which was travelling from Nitte towards Belman collided into Rajput’s bike. Rajput sustained severe head injuries and died on the spot.
A case has been registered in Karkala rural police station
