Karnataka Tourism District Officer Visits Catholic Institutions in Mangaluru
Mangaluru: Somshekar, Karnataka Tourism District Officer paid a visit to the Bishop’s House and met Most Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha and shared a few important details about the Tourism Department. Rev Fr Vijay Lobo (PRO) was present at the moment.
Holy Cross Church, Kulshekar
Rev Fr Victor Machado welcomed Somshekar cordially and Michael Dsouza (Vice President), Lancy Sequeira (Secretary) briefed him about Frad Sahib and the campus.
Infant Jesus Shrine, Bikarnakatte
Somshekar was warmly welcomed by Rev Fr Rovel D’Souza (Shrine Director) and led everyone into a short prayer. He was escorted around the campus and more details were presented. Rev Fr Lancy Louis, Rev Fr Tony Pinto, Rev Fr Steven Lobo were present.
Visit to Bethany Mother House, Bendore
The next visit of Somashekar was to the heritage cottage of Monsignor Raymond Francis Camillus Macarenhas(Founder of Bethany Congregation). Sr Rose Celine the Superior General warmly welcomed the guest and briefed about the heritage cottage and the place around. Sr. Lillis (Asst Superior General), Sr Shanthi Priya, Sr.Mariette, Sr.Lillita General Counselor, Sr. Jyothi and Sr. Sirisha were present at the moment witnessing the visit.
St Anthony Ashram, Jeppu
Fr Onil Dsouza (Director) welcomed the visitors and briefed them about the campus and its existence for the poor and took them all around the Ashram. Fr Alban D’souza (Administrator), Fr Roshan D’Souza (Asst Director), among others were present
St Joseph’s Shrine, Mudipu
Rev Fr Benjamin D’Souza (Shrine Director) welcomed the guests and after a short prayer, briefed them about St.Joseph Vaz and his miracles. Naveen D’Souza (vice president), Smt Irene Veigas (secretary) led the visitors around the campus and briefed them about the Holy Place. Arun D’Souza, Marcel D’Souza and Rajat Veigas members of the Parish were present.
Visit to Rishivana in Ranipura
Rev Dr Archibald Gonsalves cordially welcomed the guests and briefed them with the details of the place existing amidst the beautiful scenery. Fr Wilfred Rodrigues, Fr Lancy Mendonca, Fr John Lobo, and Fr Vivian Menezes were also present.
