Logging Truck Rolls over at Boliyar, Injuring 2
Mangaluru: A loaded log truck rolled over while the driver tried to overtake a water tanker at Boliyar here on April 8.
Both the driver and the conductor have been injured and admitted to the hospital in Deralakatte.
According to sources, at around 7:30 am, a truck laden with the wooden logs while on its way from Melkar to Konaje at Boliyar, the driver of the truck while trying to overtake a water tanker lost control, hit an electric pole and rolled over spilling the wooden logs on the road.
The traffic on Melkar – Mudipu road was disrupted. The Konaje police reached the spot and cleared the traffic jam.
