Udupi: The trophy of the upcoming DNI National-level Tennis Ball floodlight cricket tournament organised to mark the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Udyavar Friends was unveiled at Kidiyoor Sheshashyana Hall here on April 19.
Pramod Madhwaraj MLA of Udupi unveiled the Trophy and wished all success for the tournament. Udyavar Friends have organised the DNI National-level Tennis Ball floodlight cricket tournament from April 29 to May 1.
More than 30 cricket teams from various places including Karnataka, Maharastra, Goa Chennai are expected to participate in this tournament. Winners will get a cash prize of Rs 3.5 lakh and a trophy while the runners-up will get Rs 2 lakh and a trophy. In addition, there will be a Man of the Series, Man of the Match, Best Bowler and Best Batsman awards.
