Mandya MP Sumalatha Ambareesh Tests Positive for Coronavirus
Mandya: Member of Parliament Sumalatha Ambareesh has tested positive for the coronavirus on July 6.
MP Sumalatha, on her Facebook page, has stated, “On July 4, I had a headache and throat pain. I was very active in my constituency and also visited the coronavirus affected areas. I thought of undergoing a test for the coronavirus, and on July 6, my report confirmed that I was positive for the virus”.
She also stated, “I have taken all the precautions and advice from my doctor. At present, I am in self-isolation. I have very good immunity, with all your blessings and prayers, I will recover soon. I have given information to the health officials with whom I have been in contact. I request all those who have contacted me to get a COVID test done. Please pray for me.”
