Missing woman from Puttur found with Paramour in Cheriyaparambu

Puttur: A 45-year-old woman, who was missing since 18 months was found living with another man at Cheriyaparambu, Napoklu on December 24.

The woman has been identified as Umavathi (45), wife of Krishnappa, Olamogru Kadthimar.

According to police Umavathi was missing since June 15, 2015. In this connection a missing person’s case was registered by Umavati”s daughter Gulabi.

On June 15, 2015, at around 8:00 am, Umavathi went for work but never returned home. After receiving the complaint the police were searching for Umavathi in Sullia, Madikeri, Mysuru and Kerala but failed to trace her. On December 24, after getting reliable information, under the able leadership of Puttur Rural police station sub-inspector Abdul Khader and team, Umavathi was traced in Cheriyaparambu, Napoklu. She was residing with Balakrishna in a rented House.

Umavathi was handed over to the Puttur police for further investigation.
