Mortal Remains of Missing Safwan Found at Agumbe Ghat
Mangaluru: The Mortal remains of Safwan from Bokkabettu, were found at the Agumbe Ghat section here on November 28.
Safawn was kidnapped by on October 5, by Rowdy Safwan, Shamshuddin alias Shamshu and their gang. Since then Safwan never returned home. Safwan’s father Abdul Hameed had filed a missing person’s complaint in the Suratkal police station.
The Accused
The Suratkal police arrested two persons in Mumbai in the Safwan murder case. During interrogation, the accused revealed that they had kidnapped Safwan from Bokkabettu, killed him and disposed of his body at the Agumbe Ghat.
Based on this the Suratkal police continued their search at the Agumbe Ghat. During the search operations, the police found the mortal remains of Safwan at a curve while his clothes were found at another curve.
The police have collected the necessary samples for DNA test.
