Mumbai: Ram Ratna 42nd National Women Challengers Chess Championship-2015 is been organized by Diaspora Times on behalf of All India Chess Federation, Maharashtra Chess Association, Thane District Chess Association from 02nd July to 11th July 2015 at Keshav Srushti, RMP Complex.

In Round 6 of the event, in the top board International Master Nisha Mohota (4.5) of PSPB lost her point with WFM Viashali R (6) of Tamilnadu with Queen Opening Side lines in 34 Moves.

in the second board Nimmy George (5) from Kerala signed a peace treaty with Women International Master Mitchelle Catherina (5) of Tamilnadu with Ruy Lopez Opening in 40 Moves.

In the third Board Priyanka K (4) Tamilnadu from tamilnadu lost her point with top seeded International Master Tania Sachdev (5) from Delhi in Scotch Four Knights Opening in 67 moves.

In the 4th Board Women Grandmaster Bhakti kulkarni (5) from GOA beat WFM Varshini (4) in Queens Gambit declined side lines in 56 moves.

In the 5th Board WFM Saranya J (5) beat Women Grand Master Kiran Manisha Mohanty (5) in Sicilian Side lines in 35 moves.

At the end of Round 6 Vaishali R from Tamilnadu leads the event with 6 points sole lead 6.0/6.0, followed by 5 players with 5 points, WGM Bhakti Kulkarni, WIM Mitchelle Catherina P, WFM Saranya J, Nimmy George and IM Tania Sachdev.
