Murder of Four Members of my Family: Arrest the Accused Soon and Provide Justice – Noor Mohammed
Udupi: I am ready to provide full cooperation 24 hours a day to the police to investigate the murder case of my wife and children. The District police should investigate the case quickly and provide justice to our family by arresting the accused said, Noor Mohammed.
After the brutal murder of his wife and three children, for the first time, Noor Mohammed came before the media and said, “I have given all the information to the investigating officers in this case. I have handed over four of my and my children’s mobile phones to the police. I have given it to them so that they may get some clues. The police returned my and my son’s mobiles yesterday evening. It is known that the police got some information on the mobile phones, he said.
Noor Mohammed clarified that I was shocked to hear that some media reported that the reason for this murder was a family dispute. There is no truth in it. These reports are far from the truth. I have been married for 30 years. For 15 years my wife and children stayed with me in Riyadh. On the occasion of the last Ramzan festival, we all performed Umrah in Makkah and Madinah and came home to celebrate the festival. In the next 15 days, my wife was getting ready to visit Saudi Arabia, he said.
“My daughter Ainaz is an air hostess in Air India and she had to go to Dubai at 11 am on Sunday. My other daughter, who was working as a teacher in Saudi, was doing her post-graduation in Mangalore. She had plans to go back to Saudi after completing one year of her education. Next year I had planned the marriage of my elder son and daughter.
As soon as I got the information about the murder, I was shocked and immediately wanted to come to my home town. Since there was no direct flight, our manager then made the necessary arrangements”. Noor informed that he came from Riyadh to Dammam by road and then landed in Mangaluru by Air India Express direct flight.
The police department should investigate this case as soon as possible, arrest the accused and give us justice. People in this area are scared. My wife’s brother’s family residing nearby is also afraid of staying here. I am afraid to send my son outside. I am worried since we don’t know who is after our lives, he said.
