NSUI Udupi District Demand Rollback on Fuel Price Hike
Udupi: The National Students Union of India Udupi district demanded the Union Government roll back the hike on petrol and diesel prices.
The press release issued by the district president Christan D’Almeida states that every day the Central Government is increasing the price of petrol and diesel. The sharp increase in prices of petroleum products is a “result of the Centre’s anti-people policy”. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had assured the people of this country that the future would be bright if they voted for the BJP candidates in the Lok Sabha elections but instead of helping the people, the Central government has hiked the fuel price. “I think the future of the country will be bleak if the Centre continues to take decisions that affect the people.
