Mangaluru: A passenger scheduled to fly to Riadh in Saudi Arabia from here was arrested on Tuesday.
On suspicion his passport was thoroughly checked and it was found to be a fake one. The passport and the elector’s photo identity card (EPIC) bore different addresses, which caused the suspicion.
Abdul Aziz from Mijar near Moodbidri was arrested and booked under the relevant laws.
Upon interrogation, he has revealed that one Umarabba from Handelu had arranged for the passport.
