Pejawar Swamiji discharged from Hospital, returns to Math

Udupi: Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Pejawar Math of Sri Krishna Temple who was admitted to the KMC Hospital Manipal on Sunday to undergo a Medical Procedure for Hernia, was discharged on August 22.

On August 22 evening Pejawar Swamiji returned from the hospital, he entered the Math from the Rajangana side door and went walking to his room. Officials of the Math arranged a wheelchair for the Swamiji but he went walking. When the media persons tried to speak to the Swamiji, he politely refused.

The Swamiji who was suffering from Hernia related problems, on Sunday underwent a successful medical procedure by a team of doctors at the KMC Hospital, Manipal. The team of doctors comprised of surgeons Dr Ramakrishnan and Dr Rajgopal Shenoy, urologist Dr Padmaraj Hegde, Heart specialist Dr Padmakumar, Dr Manjunath Hande from the medicine department and anaesthetist Dr Manjunath and Dr Ramkumar. The Hospital authorities arranged a special room for Puja at the Hospital guest house where the Swamiji offered Puja.

In the Math, a special room has been arranged for the Swamiji where visitors entry has been restricted for three to four days.
