Pillion-rider Dies in Car-bike Collision in Indrali near Udupi
Udupi: A collision between a car and a bike at the Indrali railway crossing claimed a young life on Friday.
Yogish and Puneet (27) of Kalmady of Malpe were riding a new bike, yet to be registered, on their way back from Manipal.
The car arriving from Kadiyali rammed into the bike. Both of them fell to the ground. Puneet, who was in the pillion, sustained severe head injuries. Yogish had injuries in the face and feet.
Both were admitted to a hospital in Manipal. Puneet succumbed to the injuries early Saturday morning. Yogish is under treatment.
