Police arrest two more in Mall Assault case
Mangaluru: The City Police have arrested two more persons on Thursday, September 26 in relation to assaulting a youth at a Mall on Wednesday, September 25.
Addressing the media persons Commissioner of Police, Dr Harsha said that Mohammed Markaz (19) and Farhaan Farooq (19) have been arrested.
A total of five persons have so far been arrested by the police and investigation is on.
Manjunath from Bantwal was assaulted by a group of students after he advocated the cause of “Hindu Rashtra” during an argument that broke out at a mall on Wednesday, September 25. The Police had arrested two people, one of whom is a juvenile, after a video of the assault was circulated on social media.
