Police doing their job, so Hindu leaders needn’t hold talwars: RSS leader

Hubballi: RSS leader Raghunandan on Tuesday said Hindu workers hold flags in their hands and not held talwars (swords), since the police are protecting the people.

“We should have faith in law, police and soldiers. As police are here, Hindu workers have flags in their hands, otherwise, they would have held talwars,” Raghunandan said.

Speaking at a protest meeting organised by Hindu Hitarakshana Samiti here, condemning the murder of pro-Hindu activists in the state, he said, “police have lathi to protect people, and therefore, we have not picked up stones. If police continue to be mere followers of the anti-Hindu Congress government, people will lose faith in them”.

Hindus should use their voting power and law to fight against the efforts to suppress Hindus and patriots. Murder of pro-Hindu activists will not stop our struggle and Hindus will use physical force as the last option, said Raghunandan, who is the south central zone convener of ‘Pragnya Pravaha’.

He said SFI and AIDSO were promoting Naxalism in the name of students’ movements.

MP Pralhad Joshi said the ‘Mulla Siddaramaiah’ government was engaged in acts of Muslim appeasement and was torturing patriots and protecting anti-nationals. With the withdrawal of cases against PFI and KFD activists, they (the latter) have got the courage to murder anyone, he said.

“We know how to chop the tongues of those who say Pakistan zindabad,” he said, adding the word ‘legally’.

He described IGP (western range) Hemant Nimbalkar as a ‘chamcha’ of Siddaramaiah, since cases were booked under Section 307 of the IPC against BJP and pro-Hindu workers in Sirsi, Uttara Kannada district.

On the occasion, a memorandum was submitted through the tahsildar to the governor, seeking a ban on PFI and SDPI and NIA probe into the murders of pro-Hindu workers.
