Police officers do not need Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat’s Certificate – Mithun Rai

Mangaluru: “Police officers in Dakshina Kannada are doing their duties with transparency and dedication. In the Kalladka incident, Prabhakar Bhat’s remark on the SP, saying the SP is incapable was unwarranted. The SP or any other police officers do not need a certificate from Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat. Insulting SP on his capabilities is condemnable. Let Kalladka Bhat allow the police department to carry out their duties,” said District Youth Congress president Mithun Rai in a press meet held at the DCC office, Mallikatta here on May 29.
Addressing the mediapersons Mithun Rai said, “On May 26, Mohammed Hasir and his friend were waiting at the bus stop after the Friday prayers. Hasir was attacked by Mithun and his gang which is an attempt to create communal violence. Prabhakar Bhat is playing politics behind this attack. When a Bandh was called in Kalladka, Prabhakar Bhat called for a press meet and said that the Hindus community in Kalladka is not safe. He is trying to create communal divide and violence. Prabhakar Bhat being a leader should not say that the Hindu community is not safe.”
Mithun further said, “Prabhakar Bhat does not have any moral right to talk or criticize Ramanath Rai as Rai is a secular person. Ramanath Rai has won the elections for six-time and has become the Minister for two terms. The police officers are working hard to maintain the law and order in the district and people should co-operate with the police department”.
ZP Member Chandra Prakash Shetty, Padmanabh Naringana, Prasad Malli and others were also present.
