Mumbai, Sep 10 (IANS) PVR pictures will have nine of its films screening at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) this year, falling under the category of critically acclaimed international films.
The films screening at the festival are “Sicario”, “Legend”, “The Program”, “Equals”, “Demolition”, “The Idol”,” About Ray”, “Youth” and “Trumbo”. All the films have been distributed under the banner of PVR Pictures.
“The Toronto International Film Festival is definitely a great platform to showcase the success story of PVR Pictures to the world. We are honoured and delighted to unveil the best work of PVR Pictures at such a grand platform. We are hopeful that the movies would be appreciated by the audiences worldwide,” Sanjeev Kumar, joint managing director, PVR Limited said in a statement.
The 40th edition of TIFF started on Thursday and concludes on September 20.
The movies will be released in India over the course of the next few months.
