Rahul to Visit DK on March 20 & 21, Expecting Modi to Answer 10 Questions Tweeted – Ivan

Mangaluru: “The President of AICC Rahul Gandhi is visiting Dakshina Kannada on March 20 and 21. The dates of his visit to the district have been confirmed and the opposition is now confused. He will also tour other parts of the state. When Rahul Gandhi visited Hyderabad Karnataka and Mumbai Karnataka, people have welcomed him wholeheartedly and expressed their full support. Prime minister Modi and Amit Shah had also visited Karnataka but did not get much support from the people. The BJP is spreading rumours by putting false allegations on the State Government”, said Chief Whip Ivan D’Souza in a press meet held at his office, MCC here on March 3.

Addressing the mediapersons Ivan D’Souza said, “Amit Shah and Narendra Modi had toured in the state but they did not get the support they had expected. But when Rahul Gandhi visited Karnataka, he got very good support which shows that in the coming elections Congress will come to power. BJP leaders have lost the hope of winning the elections in the state and they have started to spread false rumours about the state government. In Davanagere PM Modi termed Siddaramaiah government as Seeda Rupaiya Sarkar”, in Mysuru PM said 10 percent commission government and in Bengaluru, he said ‘The Congress countdown has begun, BJP govt not far away in Karnataka’. Being the prime minister, Modi should think well before giving such statements. Because sharing the dais with a corrupt minister who went to jail for corruption by taking commission through cheque, it does not suit the PM to speak about corruption.”

Ivan D’Souza further said, “Many BJP leaders have gone to jail in corruption cases but Modi is talking about corruption. We have lost respect for the PM after he started to support leaders who had gone to jail on corruption charges. The BJP is aware that they will not come to power in the next elections and have started Yatras. In Bengaluru, the BJP launched Save Bengaluru and in Mangaluru the Suraksha Yatra. But my question is, who created immoral policing in the state? Who violated the law and order situation? Who held rallies when there was section 144 in force? Who had said that the district would be set on fire? Who instigated communal violence in the district? The BJP should first answer instead of holding the Suraksha yatra. What is the aim of the Suraksha yatra?”

Ivan also said, “We have tweeted 10 questions to Prime minister Modi. PM Modi always speaks about the farmers showing concern for them, but I need an answer from the PM or Yeddyurappa on what have they done for the welfare of the farmers?”

  1. Please do not hesitate to ask questions. Modi has asked me to answer your questions. Pease remember Modi is the only person who fought against corruption. Answering to your first question: Neeerav Modi and Narendra Modi are different people; like Mahatma Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
