Sahyadri Team Challengers bag 2nd Place at Aerodesign-USA

Another Milestone achieved at International Level- Team Challengers from Sahyadri secure 2nd prize in SAE International Aerodesign, Florida, USA

Mangaluru: Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, Mangalore Student Team Challengers participated in SAE International Aerodesign held at Lakeland, Florida, USA in Micro class and Regular class category. They have secured 2nd prize for oral presentation in micro class category with enormous appreciation for their technical presentation skills. Kausthubh Pallot, Rakshith Karumbbaiah, Akshay P N, Ranjitha H K, Nanda Kumar, Prashabh J P, Vikyath M, Prabhath Shenoy, Mahadeva, Ananya, Shrinidhi & Shwetha made this ultimate team.

The Team Challengers group was also placed fourth position in micro payload lifting capacity and fourth in regular class design report. Pre-selected 75 teams from all over the world participated in this competition.

Winning is now a habit for Sahyadrians, Chairman Dr. Manjunath Bhandary, Director, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management. Dr. D L Prabhakara, Principal, Dr. Umesh M Bhushi and Management congratulated all the students who have participated in this International Aerodesign.

  1. Great job, Sayadri College. Great reflection goes to the College, the faculty members and all the Management officials who initiated the move in sending the young and brilliant students all the way to the United States to prove their abilities and talents before the American academia.

    Competition lies not merely winning but being able to compete with the rest of the world by taking so many pains and accepting so many challenges in coming all the way in order to prove their capabilities with the rest of the participants.

    Sayadri College has certainly made their presence felt thru their brilliant students. Best of luck in all their future challenges ahead of them.
